To provide a temperature control device of a vehicular battery which can inhibit increase of a battery temperature while reducing the frequency of an operation of a fan for introducing outside air into an engine room.SOLUTION: A temperature control device 50 of a vehicular battery includes: a battery unit 6 disposed in an engine room 3 and including a battery body 11 and a housing 12; a shutter unit 10 including a shutter 10a which opens or closes an outside air introduction port 7a of the engine room 3 and a shutter drive part 10b; a first fan 9 which sends outside air to the engine room 3; and a controller 21 which controls operations of the shutter unit 10 and the first fan 9 based on a battery temperature. The controller 21 controls the shutter unit 10 and the first fan 9 so as to open the shutter 10a and cause the first fan 9 to operate when the battery temperature is higher than a predetermined cooling request temperature at the time when the vehicle is stopped and close the shutter 10a and cause the first fan 9 to stop when the battery temperature is lower than or equal to the cooling request temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】エンジンルームへの外気導入用のファンの作動頻度を少なくしながら電池温度の上昇を抑制することが可能な車両用電池の温度管理装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両用電池の温度管理装置50は、エンジンルーム3に配設され、電池本体11および筐体12を備える電池ユニット6と、エンジンルーム3の外気導入口7aを開閉するシャッタ10aおよびシャッタ駆動部10bを備えるシャッタユニット10と、外気をエンジンルーム3に送り込む第1ファン9と、電池温度に基づいてシャッタユニット10および第1ファン9の動作を制御する制御装置21とを備える。制御装置21は、車両停車時において、電池温度が所定の冷却要求温度より高い場合にはシャッタ10aを開いて第1ファン9を作動させ、電池温度が冷却要求温度以下の場合にはシャッタを10a閉じて第1ファン9を停止させるように、シャッタユニット10および第1ファン9を制御する。【選択図】図1
