To provide a berthing method capable of suppressing cost and trouble required for berthing even when a floating structure is expanded.SOLUTION: A berthing method includes: a hanging out process of moving a crawl 10 placed on a quay Q in a proceeding direction D1 going from the quay Q toward a sea surface S and hanging out a front portion 10A of the crawl 10 above the sea surface S from the quay Q; a front support process of attaching a supporting floating body 20 to a front portion 10A of the crawl 10 and having the supporting floating body 20 floating on the sea surface S support the front portion 10A; a back support process of supporting a back portion 10B of the crawl 10 while having the supporting floating body 20 support the front portion 10A; a moving process of having all of the crawl 10 move above the sea surface S; and a landing process of having the crawl 10 land on the sea surface S by lowering the front portion 10A and the back portion 10B of the crawl 10 after the moving process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
