To provide an air-fuel ratio detection device of an internal combustion engine which properly corrects a detection value of an O2 sensor based on an exhaust temperature, and improves the detection accuracy of a theoretical air-fuel ratio.SOLUTION: An air-fuel ratio detection device comprises an O2 sensor 23 arranged at an exhaust passage 10 of an engine 2 and outputting an oxygen concentration in exhaust emission, and determines that an air-fuel ratio of exhaust emission is within a theoretical air-fuel ratio region on the basis of the oxygen concentration in the exhaust emission which is detected by the O2 sensor 23. The air-fuel ratio detection device comprises: a temperature acquisition part 35 for acquiring a temperature of the O2 sensor 23 on the basis of an exhaust temperature which is detected by an exhaust temperature sensor 24; and a correction part 36 for correcting an output value of the O2 sensor 23 on the basis of the temperature of the O2 sensor 23 acquired by the temperature acquisition part 35. The correction part 36 corrects the output value of the O2 sensor 23 at a lean side rather than the theoretical air-fuel ratio region to the lean side when the exhaust temperature is high, whereas corrects the output value of the O2 sensor 23 at a rich side to the rich side and also corrects it larger than an absolute value of a correction value when the absolute value of the correction value is at the lean side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】排気温度に基づくO2センサの検出値の補正を適切に行い、理論空燃比の検出精度を向上させる内燃機関の空燃比検出装置を提供する。【解決手段】エンジン2の排気通路10に設けられ、排気中の酸素濃度を出力するO2センサ23と、O2センサ23によって検出した排気中の酸素濃度に基づいて、排気の空燃比が理論空燃比領域内であることを判定する空燃比検出装置であって、排気温度センサ24によって検出した排気温度に基づいてO2センサ23の温度を取得する温度取得部35と、温度取得部35によって取得したO2センサ23の温度に基づいて、O2センサ23の出力値を補正する補正部36と、を備え、補正部36は、排気温度の高温時に、理論空燃比領域よりもリーン側におけるO2センサ23の出力値をリーン側に補正する一方、リッチ側におけるO2センサ23の出力値をリッチ側に、補正値の絶対値がリーン側での補正値の絶対値より大きく補正する。【選択図】図1
