To provide a drive force control method which can suppress a car sickness of an occupant accompanied by an acceleration change of a vehicle by a simpler constitution, and a drive force control device.SOLUTION: In a drive force control method for controlling a drive force distribution of a first drive source connected to front wheels so that a pitch angle of a vehicle takes a desired behavior, and a second drive source connected to rear wheels, the drive force control method performs pitch rate adjustment processing for adjusting a pitch rate so as to generate a pitch displacement in a direction in which fore-and-aft acceleration corresponding to required acceleration is cancelled on the basis of the required acceleration with respect to the vehicle, and in the pitch rate adjustment processing, the drive force control method adjusts the pitch rate by controlling a drive force of the first drive source and a drive force of the second drive source to different orientations.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】より簡素な構成で車両の加速度変化に伴う乗員の車酔いを抑制することのできる駆動力制御方法及び駆動力制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両のピッチ角が所望の挙動をとるように、前輪に接続された第1駆動源及び後輪に接続された第2駆動源のそれぞれに対する駆動力配分を制御する駆動力制御方法であって、車両に対する要求加速度に基づいて、該要求加速度に応じた前後加速度を打ち消す方向のピッチ変位を発生させるようにピッチレートを調節するピッチレート調節処理を実行し、ピッチレート調節処理では、第1駆動源の駆動力と第2駆動源の駆動力を異なる向きに制御することでピッチレートを調節する。【選択図】図4
