To prevent increase in cost for a swing decreasing device for vessel since a calculation processing device with great memory capacity as well as high speed and high function becomes necessary as a result of a large calculation load due to the amount of data becoming immense when identifying a multidimensional auto-regressive model requiring a control gain in a conventional swing decreasing device for vessel.SOLUTION: A swing decreasing device for vessel includes: an orientation controller for outputting a first steering angle command value for making a vessel direct to the direction in which the vessel should travel based on an orientation command signal and a yaw angle signal; a swing decreasing controller for outputting a second steering angle command value for reducing the swinging of the vessel based on a roll angle signal, a roll angle speed signal, and a vessel speed signal; and a steering angle controller for controlling a steering angle based on the first steering angle command value and the second steering angle command value.
