To enable stabilizing a fixed posture position in a vertical direction of a fixing part provided at an end part of a spring member with respect to an upper rail, and enable improving efficiency in assembling work.SOLUTION: A seat slide device comprises: a lock member 6 that can lock an upper rail 4 to a lower rail; and a spring member 8 which is arranged inside the upper rail to extend along a longitudinal direction, and energizes the lock member in a locking direction. In the upper rail, a first opening 37 and a second opening 38 in a slot shape are formed in left and right side walls, and a fixing part 28 provided at an end part at a first spring part 27 side of the spring member is formed in a hexagonal ring-shape, has a first fitting part 33 and a second fitting part 34 in a trapezoidal shape at both left and right sides thereof, and is formed so that an outer diameter is larger than a width between both side walls 17a and 17b of the upper rail, which is configured so that the first fitting part and the second fitting part fit into the first opening and the second opening to be fixed, by utilizing spring force in a diameter enlargement direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】ばね部材の端部に設けられた固定部のアッパレールに対する上下方向の固定姿勢位置が安定化すると共に、組付作業能率の向上が図れる。【解決手段】ロアレールに対してアッパレール4をロック可能とするロック部材6と、アッパレールの内部に長手方向に沿って延びて配置され、ロック部材をロック方向へ付勢するばね部材8と、を備え、アッパレールは、左右の側壁に長孔状の第1孔部37と第2孔部38が設けられ、ばね部材の第1ばね部27側の端部に設けられた固定部28は、六角形のリング状に形成され、左右両側に台形状の第1嵌合部33と第2嵌合部34を有し、外径がアッパレールの両側壁17a、17b間の幅よりも大きく形成されて拡径方向のばね力を利用して第1嵌合部と第2嵌合部が第1孔部と第2孔部に嵌り込んで固定されるようになっている。【選択図】図5
