To provide a battery unit for driving a vehicle which enables improvement of rigidity while inhibiting air resistance from increasing when a vehicle travels.SOLUTION: A battery unit 20 for driving a vehicle includes: multiple battery modules 21; and a battery unit case 31 having a housing part 34 which houses the multiple battery modules 21. A reinforcement member 50 is provided on an outer surface 311a of a bottom part 311 of the battery unit case 31. The reinforcement member 50 is a plate-like member which extends in a vehicle width direction in a state that the battery unit 20 for driving the vehicle is mounted on a vehicle V and which curves downward when viewed from the vehicle width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
