To enhance turn-in ability of a vehicle without providing a driver with discomfort due to acceleration and deceleration by making compensation weakening additional deceleration adding to the vehicle according to requested longitudinal acceleration.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device 30 comprises brake force generation devices (6, 22) which generate brake force to shift load of a vehicle 1 to front wheel 4A side in turning initial period and a control device 31 which controls the brake force which generates in the brake force generation devices. The control device 31 calculates additional deceleration Gxadd to generate to the vehicle 1 on the basis of vehicle state information containing at least vehicle speed V and front wheel steering angle δ and calculates requested longitudinal acceleration Gxr on the basis of requested longitudinal force Fxr to the vehicle 1 and sets correction factor K for weakening the additional deceleration Gxadd on the basis of the requested longitudinal acceleration Gxr and corrects the additional deceleration Gxadd by the correction factor K and calculates additional brake force Fbadd to generate on the brake force generation device on the basis of the corrected additional deceleration Gxadd.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】車両に付加する付加減速を要求前後加速度に応じて弱める補正をすることにより、ドライバに加減速による違和感を与えることなく車両の回頭性を向上させる。【解決手段】車両制御装置30は、旋回初期に車両1の荷重を前輪4A側に移動させるべく制動力を発生する制動力発生装置(6、22)と、制動力発生装置に発生させる制動力を制御する制御装置31を備える。制御装置31は、少なくとも車速V及び前輪舵角δを含む車両状態情報に基づいて、車両1に発生させるべき付加減速度Gxaddを演算し、車両1に対する要求前後力Fxrに基づいて要求前後加速度Gxrを演算し、要求前後加速度Gxrに基づいて付加減速度Gxaddを弱めるための補正係数Kを設定し、補正係数Kによって付加減速度Gxaddを補正し、補正された付加減速度Gxaddに基づいて、制動力発生装置に発生させるべき付加制動力Fbaddを演算する。【選択図】図2
