To provide a vehicle lower member which can achieve improvement of fatigue strength of the member without causing mass increase of the member.SOLUTION: A lower member A10 includes: a main member 10 having a base part 11; and a reinforcement member 20 having an outer surface 22 oriented to the opposite side of an inner surface 21 in a predetermined direction X and joined to the main member 10. The base part 11 is connected to an input part, on which external force acts, and an attachment part which is attached to a vehicle body. The outer surface 22 includes: a first edge 22A extending from the side where the attachment part is located to the input part; and a second edge 22B which is connected to the first edge 22A and recessed in a direction away from the attachment part when viewed along the predetermined direction X. In the predetermined direction X, at least a part of the second edge 22B is spaced apart from a virtual plane VS which includes the first edge 22A and is arranged in a manner that an in-plane direction is set to a direction orthogonal to the predetermined direction X.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
