To improve estimation accuracy of a fuel residual quantity.SOLUTION: A fuel residual quantity estimation device includes rotation speed detection means for detecting an actual rotation speed of a fuel pump that pumps fuel in a fuel tank to an engine, and an estimation unit that estimates a fuel liquid level in the fuel tank on the basis of an actual rotation speed of the fuel pump. The fuel residual quantity estimation device includes a deviation calculation unit that calculates a deviation (F/B rotation speed) between a target rotation speed, which is the rotation speed of the fuel pump when a fuel liquid level in the fuel tank is a reference level, and the actual rotation speed of the fuel pump. The estimation unit estimates a fuel liquid level on the basis of a value obtained by excluding an influence value (correction value), which is by parameters (fuel temperature, fuel pressure) other than the fuel liquid level influencing a rotation torque of the fuel pump, from the deviation (F/B rotation speed) (Figure 9, step S204).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
