To realize discharge control with improved efficiency.SOLUTION: A drive system comprises: a first rotating electric machine connected to a vehicle shaft VS; a second rotating electric machine connected to an internal combustion engine EN; a first power conversion circuit which converts power between a power source 10 and the first rotating electric machine; a second power conversion circuit which converts power between the power source and the second rotating electric machine; a capacitor which stores electric charge from the first power conversion circuit or the second power conversion circuit; and a control section 150 which controls the first power conversion circuit and the second power conversion circuit. The control section, when a discharge start condition in abnormal time is met and the first rotating electric machine is rotated, executes rotation suppression control, before discharging the charge stored in the capacitor, in a manner that suppresses rotation of the first rotating electric machine by generating power with the rotation of the first rotating electric machine and discharges the power generated with the rotation of the first rotating electric machine through rotating the second rotating electric machine with the power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】より効率的な放電制御を実現すること。【解決手段】実施形態の駆動システムは、車軸VSに連結された第1の回転電機と、内燃機関ENに連結された第2の回転電機と、電源10と第1の回転電機との間で電力を変換する第1の電力変換回路と、電源と第2の回転電機との間で電力を変換する第2の電力変換回路と、第1の電力変換回路または第2の電力変換回路からの電荷を蓄積するコンデンサと、第1の電力変換回路および第2の電力変換回路を制御する制御部150とを備え、前記制御部は、異常時における放電開始条件を満たす場合に、前記コンデンサの電荷の放電を行う前に、前記第1の回転電機が回転しているときには、前記回転抑制制御は、前記第1の回転電機の回転によって発電させることで前記第1の回転電機の回転を抑制させると共に、前記第1の回転電機で発電された電力によって前記第2の回転電機を回転させて前記発電された電力を放電させる。【選択図】図1
