To provide a reuse prevention method for a traveling battery, by which improper reuse by a third party is prevented even if the traveling battery is taken out from a vehicle involved in an accident.SOLUTION: A vehicle includes: a traveling battery module in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; an electronic control unit capable of executing voltage control for each battery cell of the traveling battery module, by using an auxiliary battery as a driving power source; and an impact detection sensor for detecting a magnitude of an impact applied to the vehicle. In a reuse prevention method for a traveling battery, when the impact detection sensor detects an impact of a predetermined value or larger, the electronic control unit executes voltage decreasing control on only a preselected battery cell of the traveling battery module and prevents an improper reuse by a third party even if the traveling battery is taken out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】事故車両から走行用電池が取り出されても、第三者による不適正な再利用可能を防止する走行用電池の再利用防止方法を提供する。【解決手段】車両は、複数の電池セルが積層された走行用電池モジュールと、補機バッテリを駆動電源として、走行用電池モジュールの電池セル毎の電圧制御を行うことが可能な電子制御ユニットと、車両に加えられた衝撃の大きさを検知する衝撃検知センサとを備える。走行用電池の再利用防止方法は、衝撃検知センサが所定値以上の衝撃を検知した場合、電子制御ユニットは、走行用電池モジュールの予め選択した電池セルのみを低電圧化制御し、走行用電池が取り出されても第三者による不適正な再利用を防止する。【選択図】図1
