To provide a power transmission mechanism of a vehicle which enables improvement of traveling performance because slip easily occurs especially in driving wheels on, for example, a climbing road with a low μ and it is difficult to secure the travelling performance on the road.SOLUTION: A power transmission mechanism M1 of a vehicle includes: a driving motor 13 (a driving source); a driving shaft 27 to which torque is transmitted from the driving motor 13 and which is connected to driving wheels 11; and an engagement mechanism 31 which is connected to the driving shaft 27 through a planetary gear mechanism 29 (a speed reduction mechanism) and has an engagement member 313 which may engage with a road surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
