To allow a large volume of data to be transmitted at high speed by using communication that does not include a converter having protocol conversion or media conversion between the outside and a communication network inside a mobile body.SOLUTION: A communication system inside a mobile body includes: an internal connector connected to a second transmission path that communicates information with a first transmission path without converting, between light and electricity, an information form of the information transmitted on the first transmission path used in an information communication network existing outside the mobile body; a third transmission path that is connected to the internal connector, disposed inside the mobile body, and communicates information with the second transmission path without converting the information form between light and electricity; and a first information transmission/reception device that is connected to the third transmission path and transmits and receives information. The first information transmission/reception device transmits and receives information to/from the information communication network without converting the information form between light and electricity. To the internal connector, an energy supply transmission line that supplies energy for moving the mobile body is connected to the second transmission path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
