To prevent a user from feeling troublesomeness while correctly indicating a physical relation between the own vehicle and a peripheral vehicle as needed.SOLUTION: A vehicle display control device comprises: a physical relation acquisition unit 111 which acquires a physical relation between the own vehicle and a peripheral vehicle; and a display control unit 105 which displays a bird's-eye view indicating a physical relation with an own vehicle image viewed from a virtual view point on the upper side than the own vehicle and a peripheral vehicle image by using the physical relation between the own vehicle and the peripheral vehicle acquired by the physical relation acquisition unit 111 on a display unit 90 used in a cabin of the own vehicle. The display control unit 105 lowers the update frequency of the display position of the image of the peripheral vehicle in the bird's-eye view as a distance of the peripheral vehicle from the own vehicle becomes farther.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】自車と周辺車両との位置関係を必要に応じてより正確に示しつつも、ユーザに煩わしさをより感じさせにくくすることを可能とする。【解決手段】自車と周辺車両との位置関係を取得する位置関係取得部111と、位置関係取得部111で取得する自車と周辺車両との位置関係を用いて、自車よりも上方の仮想視点から見た自車画像及び周辺車両画像でその位置関係を示す俯瞰図を、自車の車室内で用いられる表示器90に表示させる表示制御部105とを備え、表示制御部105は、自車からの周辺車両の距離が遠くなるのに応じて、俯瞰図における周辺車両の画像の表示位置の更新頻度を下げる。【選択図】図2
