To propose a technique capable of uniquely determining a mileage corresponding to a given target position on a railroad line.SOLUTION: Two kilometer posts P1 and P2 closer to a target position D are selected by using an absolute position according to a mileage of each kilometer post serving as a distance mark and a geographical coordinate system and a database storing overlapped/discontinuous kilometer information to calculate an estimated rail track extension length L between the two kilometer posts P1 and P2 in consideration of the overlapped kilometer and the discontinuous kilometer. The mileage corresponding to the target position D is determined based on the estimated rail track extension length L and the degree of distance of the target position D with respect to the two kilometer posts P1 and P2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8

    【課題】鉄道沿線の所与の対象位置に対応するキロ程を一意に決定可能とする技術を提案すること。【解決手段】距離標である各キロポストのキロ程及び地理座標系による絶対位置と、重キロ・断キロ情報とを格納したデータベースを用いて、対象位置Dに近い2つのキロポストP1,P2を選択し、重キロ及び断キロを考慮した2つのキロポストP1,P2間の推定線路延長Lを算出する。そして、この推定線路延長Lと、2つのキロポストP1,P2に対する対象位置Dの遠近度合とに基づくことで、対象位置Dに対応するキロ程を決定する。【選択図】図8
