To provide a traffic flow control system that enables smooth control over a traffic flow at a roundabout intersection using a simple logic that can be processed by an inexpensive system having low calculator performance and communication performance.SOLUTION: A traffic flow control system 10 includes area management devices 1A to 1D provided for respective areas, and exit lane management devices 2A to 2D provided for respective exit lanes. The exit lane management devices have possessory right management units 21A to 21D that manage the possessory right, and communication units 22A to 22D. The area management devices have destination acquisition units 11A to 11D that acquire exit lanes, entry right management units 12A to 12D that manage the entry right, and communication units 13A to 13D. In a case in which the entry right for a covered area is requested by a moving body, one of the entry right management units of the area management devices transmits a token with the entry right added thereto to the moving body if the possessory right management unit of one of the exit lane management devices that covers an exit lane which is the destination of the moving body possesses the possessory right, and possesses the entry right and the token.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】ラウンドアバウト式の交差点の交通流を、計算機性能や通信性能の低い安価なシステムでも処理可能な単純な論理を利用して円滑に制御できる、交通流制御システムを提供する。【解決手段】交通流制御システム10は、エリアごとに設けたエリア管理装置1A~1Dと、進出路ごとに設けた進出路管理装置2A~2Dと、を備え、進出路管理装置は、占有権を管理する占有権管理部21A~21Dと、通信部22A~22Dを有し、エリア管理装置は、進出路を取得する行先取得部11A~11Dと、進入権を管理する進入権管理部12A~12Dと、通信部13A~13Dを有する。エリア管理装置の進入権管理部は、移動体から担当するエリアの進入権を要求された場合、移動体の行先となる進出路を担当する進出路管理装置の占有権管理部が占有権を保有しており、かつ、進入権とトークンを保有していれば、進入権を付加したトークンを移動体に送信する。【選択図】図2
