To notify a changeover requirement for surely promoting changeover to a manual drive mode without making a driver feel an excessive trouble.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device 10 comprises: a storage part 13 for storing the past correspondence history of changeover to a manual drive mode from an automatic drive mode at each of drivers; an acquisition part 11 for acquiring information for recognizing the driver of a vehicle; a driver recognition part 12 for recognizing the driver of the vehicle on the basis of information acquired by the acquisition part 11; a notification form determination part 14 for determining a form of a changeover requirement notification for requiring changeover to the manual drive mode from the automatic drive mode on the basis of the past correspondence history related to the driver recognized by the driver recognition part 12; and an output part 15 for outputting a notification command to a notification device so that the notification device performs the changeover requirement notification in the determined form of the changeover requirement notification.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
