To provide an omnidirectional wheel that reduces manufacturing costs by decreasing a number of components and has an excellent maintenance property and strength.SOLUTION: An omnidirectional wheel 10 has a hub member 20 that can rotate about an axis of an axel 1, and a plurality of roller units 30. The roller unit 30 has a first roller 40, a second roller 41 smaller than the first roller 40, and a supporting member 31 that supports both rollers 40 and 41 so as to rotate around rotation axes 34 and 35. Both rollers 40 and 41 have outlines in which axial tip end sides of the rotation axes 34 and 35 are contracted as compared with base end sides, and are attached to the supporting member 31 while opposed to each other on the base end sides. The first roller 40 has a cavity portion 40a, and the plurality of roller units 30 are arranged on an outer peripheral side of the hub member 20 so that both rollers 40 and 41 are alternately aligned around the axle 1. In the cavity portion 40a, a tip end side of the second roller 41 of other adjacent roller unit 30 is inserted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】構成部品数を削減して製造コストを低減すると共にメンテナンス性や強度にも優れた全方向車輪を提供する。【解決手段】全方向車輪10は、車軸1の軸心周りに回転可能なハブ部材20と、複数のローラユニット30とを有している。ローラユニット30は、第1ローラ40と、第1ローラ40よりも小さい第2ローラ41と、両ローラ40,41を回転軸線34,35を中心に回転可能に支持する支持部材31とを有している。両ローラ40,41は、回転軸線34,35の軸線方向先端側が基端側より縮径された外形を有し、互いに基端側を対向させて支持部材31に取り付けられる。第1ローラ40は空洞部40aを有し、ハブ部材20の外周側に両ローラ40,41が車軸1の軸心周り方向に交互に並ぶように複数のローラユニット30が配される。空洞部40aに、隣接する他のローラユニット30の第2ローラ41の先端側が挿入されている。【選択図】図1
