To provide a new method by which the cost of utilizing a power carriage that is equipped with a direct drive type main motor, is suppressed.SOLUTION: A power carriage 10 of an electric motor vehicle comprises an axial gap type transverse flux motor 100 which has an axle 22 as a rotation shaft, a reaction force receiver 24 to support the motor connected to a transverse beam 12, a control device 30 to control a power supply to the motor, a fixing part 50 to connect the control device to the transverse beam 12 and support the device, and electric cables (main power line 32, ground line 42) to electrically connect the motor and the control device 30. The reaction force receiver 24 supports the motor at a position near one wheel 21a coupled with the axle 22 on one hand and the fixing part 50 supports the control device 30 at a position near the other wheel 21b coupled with the axle 22 in a space between the axle 22 and the transverse beam 12 on the other hand.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
