To provide an inspection method and an inspection device capable of highly accurately diagnosing the deterioration degree of a component to be inspected in a lift.SOLUTION: The inventive lift inspection method comprises the steps of: heating a component to be inspected at a heating unit; measuring the temperature of the heated component at a temperature measurement unit; and determining the deterioration degree of the component at a determination unit on the basis of a difference between the temperature of the component and the temperature of an environment where the component is placed.
