To provide an intake device of an internal combustion engine, which enables lowering of intake temperature thereby enabling improvement of the charging efficiency of the internal combustion engine, and consequently enables improvement of the output performance and the fuel economy of the internal combustion engine, even if an opening area for taking air into an engine room is reduced.SOLUTION: An intake device 10 comprises a volume portion 17 communicating with an intake duct 11 by a communication path 16a, the volume portion 17 comprises a resonator 13 installed near an air cleaner 12. The volume portion 17 has a front wall portion 17A extending in a cylinder row direction of an engine 2, and in the front wall portion 17A, a right end portion 17a separated from the air cleaner 12 is protruded frontward rather than a left end portion 17b near the air cleaner 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
