To provide a structure which prevents a cooling liquid from splashing on wiring passing through a lower part of a cooling pipe, in a cooling device for a vehicular rotary electric machine having a structure for cooling the vehicular rotary electric machine by the cooling liquid discharged from the cooling pipe arranged at an upper part of the vehicular rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: Since a second wire harness 96 passing through a lower part of a cooling pipe 74 is restricted at a position not superposed on a flat surface L which passes through a cooling oil hole 82 and is perpendicular to a longer direction of the cooling pipe 74, by a restriction member 106, a cooling oil discharged from the cooling oil hole 82 is prevented from splashing on the second wire harness 96 without arranging the second wire harness 96 at an upper part of the cooling pipe 74. Therefore, since the cooling oil discharged from the cooling oil hole 82 is supplied efficiently to a first rotary electric machine MG1, cooling performance of the first rotary electric machine MG1 is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】車両用回転電機の上方に配置される冷却管から放出される冷却液によって車両用回転電機を冷却する構造を有する車両用回転電機の冷却装置において、冷却液が冷却管の下方を通る配線にかかることが防止される構造を提供する。【解決手段】規制部材106によって、冷却管74の下方を通る第2ワイヤーハーネス96が、冷却油孔82を通り且つ冷却管74の長手方向に対して垂直な平面Lに重ならない位置に規制されるため、第2ワイヤーハーネス96を冷却管74の上方に配置しなくても、冷却油孔82から放出される冷却油が第2ワイヤーハーネス96にかかることが防止される。従って、冷却油孔82から放出される冷却油が効率良く第1回転電機MG1に供給されるため、第1回転電機MG1の冷却性能が向上する。【選択図】図5
