To suppress positional deviation of a wayside coil substrate 10, prevent deterioration in yield, and prevent deterioration in water proof property and vibration resistance of a wayside coil 1 when making a resin outer shell 40 by covering the wayside coil substrate 10 by a resin mold sheet (for example, SMC sheets 41, 42) and compression molding by press molding.SOLUTION: Compression molding is carried out by using positioning pins 56 projected toward one mold of either an upper die 51 or a lower die 52 for press molding from at least two positions (for example, from four corners of a rectangular substrate) of the wayside coil substrate 10 and in a state with each positioning pin 56 inserted in positioning holes 55 provided on one of the molds (preferably the lower die 52).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
