To provide a driver state detection device that can early detect an abnormality of a driver falling into a state of mild functional deterioration.SOLUTION: A driver state detection device 1 comprises: a stationary object detection sensor 2 that detects a stationary object near a travelling route of an own vehicle: an own-vehicle behaviour sensor 6; a risk evaluation index calculation part 10a comprising a risk prediction/evaluation model for calculating a risk that the own vehicle may interfere with a virtual object that moves onto the travelling route from behind the stationary object; and an abnormality determination part 10b that determines whether a driver is in an abnormal state or not by comparing the risk evaluation index calculated by the risk evaluation index calculation part with a predetermined threshold. The risk evaluation index calculation part calculates the risk evaluation index by applying driving operation by the driver and/or the travelling state of the own vehicle detected by the own vehicle behaviour sensor to the risk prediction/evaluation model.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】軽度の機能低下状態に陥っている運転者の異常を、早期に発見することができる運転者状態検出装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、運転者状態検出装置1であって、自車両の走行経路近傍の静止物を検出する静止物検出センサ2と、自車挙動センサ6と、静止物の向こう側から走行経路上に進出してくる仮想物体と、自車両が干渉するリスクを算出するためのリスク予測評価モデルを備えたリスク評価指標算出部10aと、このリスク評価指標算出部により算出されたリスク評価指標と、所定の閾値を比較して運転者の異常の有無を判定する異常判定部10bと、を有し、リスク評価指標算出部は、自車挙動センサによって検出された運転者の運転操作及び/又は自車両の走行状態を、リスク予測評価モデルに適用することによりリスク評価指標を算出することを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
