To provide a device for accurately estimating an action of an occupant by a simple configuration using a pressure sensor.SOLUTION: An occupant action estimation device 1 includes a first pressure sensor 11 disposed on a seat surface part 2a, and a calculation device 20 for estimating a specific action of an occupant 3 on the basis of a pressure signal waveform detected by the first pressure sensor 11. The calculation device 20 generates, as a secondary signal waveform, at least one of a pressure total value and a pressure average value of a plurality of first sensor cells, and a gravity position in an array direction of the plurality of first sensor cells in the first pressure sensor 11 on the basis of the pressure signal waveform acquired from the first pressure sensor 11, extracts a feature amount used for machine learning on the basis of the secondary signal waveform, and estimates a specific action of the occupant 3 by using a learned model of machine learning for estimating a specific action of the occupant 3 on the basis of the feature amount when the occupant 3 executes the specific action.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】圧力センサを用いた簡易な構成によって、乗員の動作を高精度に推定することができる装置を提供する。【解決手段】乗員の動作推定装置1は、座面部2aに配置された第一圧力センサ11と、第一圧力センサ11により検出された圧力信号波形に基づいて、乗員3の特定の動作を推定する演算装置20とを備える。演算装置20は、第一圧力センサ11から取得した圧力信号波形に基づいて第一圧力センサ11における複数のセンサセルの圧力総和値、圧力平均値、および、複数の第一センサセルの配列方向の重心位置の少なくとも1つを2次信号波形として生成し、2次信号波形に基づいて機械学習に用いる特徴量を抽出し、乗員3が特定の動作を行った際に特徴量に基づいて乗員3の特定の動作を推定するための機械学習の学習済みモデルを用いて乗員3の特定の動作を推定する。【選択図】図7
