To provide a magnetic paint having high coercive force and corrosion resistance, a road pattern formed therewith and a vehicle control system.SOLUTION: A magnetic paint 1 is formed by adding SmCo powder. The road pattern is patterned on the road with the magnetic paint 1. According to a first embodiment, a vehicle control system 31 is provided comprising a magnetic field detecting sensor detecting a magnetic field generated from a road pattern, a calculating device calculating the traveling state of the vehicle 3 based on a magnetic field detected by the magnetic field sensing sensor, and a control device controlling the vehicle 3 based on the traveling state of the vehicle calculated by the calculation device. According to a second embodiment, a vehicle control system 31 is provided which is identical to the vehicle control system 31 in the first embodiment except that the traveling position of the vehicle 3 is identified from the traveling state of the vehicle 3 and the traveling position is controlled. According to a third embodiment, a vehicle control system 31 is provided which is identical to the vehicle control system 31 in the first embodiment or the second embodiment except that the traveling speed control of the vehicle 3 is performed based on the detected magnetic field.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
