To provide a tire capable of reducing pitch noise, a tire manufacturing method, a tire design method, and a method for determining an arrangement of pattern constitution units.SOLUTION: A tire has a tread part 2 on which a tread pattern 3 including pattern rows 5, where a plurality of pattern constitution units 4 are arranged in a tire circumferential direction, is disposed. The pattern rows 5 are replaced with first pulse trains in which pulses having a size according to a length D in the tire circumferential direction of the pattern constitution units 4 are arranged side by side with intervals according to the length D of the pattern constitution units 4 in order of the arrangement of the pattern constitution units 4, and second pulse trains shifting the first pulse trains are acquired from the first pulse trains by a pulse equivalent to a ratio of a ground contact length to a circumference in the pattern rows 5. When third pulse trains superposing pulses of the first pulse trains and pulses of the second pulse trains are acquired, the maximum value Fmax of the 1-order to k-order amplitude Fk obtained after Fourier transformation of the third pulse trains satisfies certain conditions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
