To provide an earthquake shaking degree detector which achieves improved derivation accuracy of shaking degree of a vehicle due to an earthquake.SOLUTION: An earthquake shaking degree detector 60 includes: an acceleration derivation section 54 for deriving horizontal acceleration of a vehicle body 12 on the basis of horizontal acceleration signals of acceleration sensors 21, 22 provided at a vehicle 10; and a shaking degree derivation section 53 for deriving the degree of shaking of the vehicle 10 due to an earthquake at the time of a stop of the vehicle 10 on the basis of the magnitude of vibration of the horizontal acceleration derived by the acceleration derivation section 54 during the stop of the vehicle 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
