To provide a correction method of a turning angle for correcting a drift error occurring when detecting the turning angle of a turning mechanism by utilizing an inertia sensor.SOLUTION: A correction method of a turning angle corrects the amount of drift generated in an inertial sensor 3 when detecting the turning angle of a turning mechanism 13 by the inertia sensor 3. The method includes a first step of detecting a detection turning angle as a turning angle when a detection sensor 6 provided in the turning mechanism and a detection body 5 mounted to a base mechanism pass each other by the inertia sensor 3, a second step of obtaining a reference turning angle as a turning angle of the inertia sensor 3 when the detection sensor 6 and the detection body 5 pass each other, a third step for calculating the amount of error by subtracting a reference turning angle from a detection turning angle, a fourth step of obtaining a regression formula from a relationship between the absolute value and the amount of error of a detection turning angle obtained by repeating steps from the first step to the third step, and a fifth step for calculating a correction turning angle with an inclination of a regression formula as a correction coefficient.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】慣性センサを利用して旋回機構の旋回角度を検出する場合において発生するドリフト誤差を補正する旋回角度の補正方法を提供する。【解決手段】旋回機構13の旋回角度を慣性センサ3により検知する場合において、慣性センサ3に生じるドリフト量を補正する旋回角度の補正方法である。旋回機構に設けられた検出センサ6とベース機構に取り付けられた検出体5とがすれ違った際の旋回角度である検出旋回角度を慣性センサ3により検出する第一ステップと、検出センサ6と検出体5とがすれ違った際の慣性センサ3の旋回角度である基準旋回角度を求める第二ステップと、検出旋回角度から基準旋回角度を減じて誤差量を算出する第三ステップと、第一ステップから第三ステップを繰り返すことにより求められた検出旋回角度の絶対値と誤差量との関係から回帰式を求める第四ステップと、回帰式の傾きを補正係数として補正旋回角度を算出する第五ステップとを備える。【選択図】図1
