To provide a vehicle opening/closing body drive unit capable of eliminating looseness of a belt.SOLUTION: A door drive unit 40 include: a belt frame 50 that extends in a direction of movement of a sliding door; a drive unit that has an output shaft; a drive pulley connected to the output shaft; multiple driven pulleys that are arranged with a space in a longitudinal direction of the belt frame 50; a belt 67 wrapped around a drive pulley and multiple driven pulleys with a connector 69 to be fixed to the sliding door; and an urging member 68 that is supported by the belt frame 50 to urge the belt 67 from the inside of belt 67.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
