To provide a vehicle control device, a vehicle and a vehicle control method capable of attaining more accurate braking control in accordance with a driving mode.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device 12 controls a vehicle having a plurality of driving modes. The vehicle control device includes: a traveling control section 58 performing traveling control of a vehicle 10 on the basis of peripheral information; a limit value determination section 60 determining a deceleration limit value when the traveling control is being performed in accordance with the driving mode; and a braking control section 62 performing braking control on the basis of the peripheral information so that the vehicle decelerates at deceleration that does not exceed the deceleration limit value determined by the limit value determination section. The limit value determination section sets the deceleration limit value to a first limit value during driving of the vehicle in a first driving mode, and sets the deceleration limit value to a second limit value higher than the first limit value during driving of the vehicle in a second driving mode having a higher automated degree than that of the first driving mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】運転モードに応じてより的確な制動制御を実現し得る車両制御装置、車両及び車両制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】車両制御装置12は、複数の運転モードを有する車両を制御する車両制御装置であって、周辺情報に基づいて車両10の走行制御を行う走行制御部58と、走行制御が行われている際の減速度制限値を運転モードに応じて決定する制限値決定部60と、制限値決定部によって決定された減速度制限値を超えない減速度で車両が減速するように周辺情報に基づいて制動制御を行う制動制御部62とを備え、制限値決定部は、第1運転モードで車両が運転される場合には減速度制限値を第1制限値に設定し、第1運転モードより自動化度が高い第2運転モードで車両が運転される場合には減速度制限値を前記第1制限値より高い第2制限値に設定する。【選択図】図1
