To acquire tire characteristics with high accuracy when acquiring the tire characteristics obtained by giving a tire an increase/decrease in a slip rate.SOLUTION: A method for calculating tire characteristics is to acquire measurement data on a transient response concerning a longitudinal force acting on a tire rotation axis obtained by giving a tire an increase/decrease in a slip rate, and identify a response function of vibration riding on the longitudinal force acting on the tire rotation axis with respect to the slip rate from a part of the measurement data. The method for calculating tire characteristics is to obtain a brake force or a driving force acting on a tire tread part by applying deconvolution processing to the measurement data by using information on the identified response function, and calculate a characteristic curve of the brake force or the driving force acting on the tire tread part with respect to the slip rate from the obtained brake force or driving force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】タイヤにスリップ率の増減を与えて得られるタイヤ特性を取得する際、精度の高いタイヤ特性を取得する。【解決手段】タイヤ特性を取得するとき、タイヤにスリップ率の増減を与えて得られるタイヤ回転軸に働く前後力に関する過渡応答の計測データを取得し、前記計測データの一部から前記スリップ率に対する前記タイヤ回転軸に働く前後力に乗る振動の応答関数を同定する。同定した前記応答関数の情報を用いて前記計測データにデコンボリューション処理を施すことにより、タイヤトレッド部に働く制動力あるいは駆動力を求め、求めた前記制動力あるいは前記駆動力から、前記スリップ率に対する前記タイヤトレッド部に働く制動力あるいは駆動力の特性曲線を算出する。【選択図】 図1
