To predict tire wear performance more accurately.SOLUTION: This method predicts tire wear performance during composite travelling that is travelling while receiving front-rear force y and lateral force x at the same time. The method includes: a first calculation process N1 in which wear energy front and rear components E are calculated; a second calculation process N2 in which wear energy lateral component F is calculated; and a third calculation process N3 in which composite wear energy G is calculated. The first calculation process N1 includes: a step S5 at which converted front and rear forces y', in which the lateral force x is converted, is determined; a step S6 at which the sum (y+y') of the front and rear force y and the converted lateral force y' is calculated; and a step S7 at which the wear energy front and rear components E is calculated from the sum (y+y').SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
