To perform appropriate vibration damping with reduced power consumption even in a case in which the stroke of a linear motor related to an electromagnetic actuator reaches an emergency region.SOLUTION: An electric suspension device 11 includes an electromagnetic actuator 13 that generates driving force related to vibration damping of a vehicle. A linear motor 19 of an electromagnetic actuator 13 includes a columnar rod member 21, and a housing 31 that surrounds the rod member 21 and is provided so as to be able to move forward and backward in the axial direction with respect to the rod member 21. The rod member 21 is provided with a plurality of rod-side armature coils 27 along the axial direction. A plurality of permanent magnets 33 are provided in the housing 31 along the axial direction. The armature coil located on the end side of the rod member 21 from among the plurality of rod-side armature coils 27 is provided with a short-circuit portion 27b that suppresses advancing/retreating movement along the axial direction between the rod member 21 and the housing 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】電磁アクチュエータに係るリニアモータのストロークが非常用領域にまで到達するケースであっても、適確な振動減衰を省電力で遂行する。【解決手段】電動サスペンション装置11は、車両の振動減衰に係る駆動力を発生させる電磁アクチュエータ13を備える。電磁アクチュエータ13のリニアモータ19は、円柱状のロッド部材21と、ロッド部材21を囲んでロッド部材21に対して軸方向に進退自在に設けられる筐体31と、を備える。ロッド部材21には、軸方向に沿って複数のロッド側電機子コイル27が設けられる。筐体31には、軸方向に沿って複数の永久磁石33が設けられる。複数のロッド側電機子コイル27のうちロッド部材21の端部側に位置する電機子コイルには、ロッド部材21及び筐体31間における軸方向に沿う進退移動を抑制する短絡部27bが備わっている。【選択図】図1
