To provide a transmitter for a track circuit having more favorable train detection performance in that the power applied to a ground device and a cable included in the track circuit is suppressed to miniaturize the ground device and the cable.SOLUTION: A transmitter 1 for a track circuit for transmitting a signal to the track circuit, includes an arithmetic processing unit for controlling a transmission level of a signal and performing transmission processing, an amplifier unit for amplifying the signal output from the arithmetic processing unit, a detection unit for detecting an output voltage and an output current of the signal amplified by the amplifier unit, and a calculation unit for calculating load impedance of the track circuit according to the output voltage and the output current detected by the detection unit. The arithmetic processing unit switches a control method of the transmission level based on a result obtained by comparing the load impedance with a threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】軌道回路用送信器において、より良好な列車検知性能を得、軌道回路を構成する地上機器やケーブルへの印加電力を抑制して地上機器やケーブルを小型化する。【解決手段】軌道回路へ信号を送信する軌道回路用送信器1は、信号の送信レベルを制御し送信処理する演算処理部と、演算処理部から出力された信号を増幅する増幅部と、増幅部によって増幅された信号の出力電圧及び出力電流を検知する検知部と、検知部によって検知された出力電圧及び出力電流から軌道回路の負荷インピーダンスを算出する算出部と、を有する。演算処理部は、負荷インピーダンスを閾値と比較した結果に基づいて送信レベルの制御方法を切り替える。【選択図】図1
