To provide a driving force transmission control device and a control method of a driving force transmission device which can enhance the controllability of transmitted torque.SOLUTION: A control device 7 that controls a driving force transmission device 2 for pressing a main clutch 3 by an actuator 6 that generates a pressing force according to a supplied current and transmitting a driving force of a vehicle between a housing 20 and an inner shaft 23 has: torque command value calculation means 71 that calculates a torque command value indicating a driving force to be transmitted from the housing 20 to the inner shaft 23 based on vehicle information; current command value calculation means 72 that sets a current command value according to the magnitude of the torque command value and the amount of time change; and current control means 73 that performs current feedback control so that the current corresponding to the current command value calculated by the current command value calculation means 72 is supplied to the actuator 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
