To provide an omnidirectional carriage conveying mechanism for reducing travel passage width and a turning space and suppressing slip.SOLUTION: An omnidirectional carriage conveying mechanism 1 includes a substantially rectangular carriage 40 in plan view, an unmanned carrier 10 arranged adjacently to a connection portion of a carriage 40 and having driving wheels 164 which is rotatably supported by the body, and an integration mechanism for integrating the unmanned carrier 10 and the carriage 40. The integration mechanism includes: a side plate 202 being one of a side guide mechanism to be driven so as to come into contact with or separate from both side parts of the carriage 40 orthogonal to a direction in which the unmanned carrier 10 travels; and a servo motor 360, a slide shaft 304, a bearing 308, a hook, and the like constituting a portion of a carriage lift mechanism 30 to be brought into contact with the neighborhood of the connection portion of the carriage 40 to lift some part of the carriage 40 near the unmanned carrier 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
