To provide an information presentation device for an automatic driving vehicle capable of further reducing uneasiness felt by a traffic participant existing around an own vehicle in an automatic driving vehicle.SOLUTION: In an information presentation device 300 for an automatic driving vehicle, an external information acquisition unit 311 acquires external information containing information on a succeeding vehicle existent behind in an advancing direction of an own vehicle. A discrimination unit 323 discriminates presence or absence of a succeeding vehicle, which follows the own vehicle, on the basis of the external information. When the discrimination unit 323 discriminates presence of the succeeding vehicle which follows the own vehicle, a calculation unit 325 calculates an own vehicle-to-succeeding vehicle distance that is a distance between the own vehicle and the succeeding vehicle. An information presentation unit 331 presents information to the succeeding vehicle, using external display devices 83 and 97 installed in a rear part of a vehicle compartment of the own vehicle. The information presentation unit 331 designates a presentation mode for the information to the succeeding vehicle according to the length of the own vehicle-to-succeeding vehicle distance calculated by the calculation unit 325.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】自動運転車において、自車両の周囲に存する交通参加者が抱く不安感を一層低減することが可能な自動運転車用情報提示装置を提供する。【解決手段】自動運転車用情報提示装置300において、外界情報取得部311は、自車両の進行方向後方に存する後走車を含む外界情報を取得する。判別部323は、外界情報に基づいて、自車両を追走する後走車の有無を判別する。判別部323により自車両を追走する後走車が有る旨の判別が下された場合、算出部325は、自車両と後走車間の距離である自後車間距離を算出する。情報提示部331は、後走車に向けた情報の提示を、自車両の車室内後部に設けた外部表示装置83、97を用いて行う。情報提示部331は、後走車に向けた情報の提示態様を、算出部325で算出された自後車間距離の大きさに応じて設定する。【選択図】図6
