To provide a control unit, of a vehicle power transmission device, which controls generation of rattle without degrading fuel efficiency.SOLUTION: A control unit 120 of a vehicle power transmission device 16 comprises a sleeve hydraulic pressure control section 134 which moves a sleeve 56 in a disengaging direction, opposite to an engaging direction along an axial line C, while maintaining engagement between the inner peripheral teeth 56s of the sleeve 56 and the outer peripheral teeth 54s of the gear piece 54 when rattle generation is estimated between inner peripheral teeth 56s of the sleeve 56 and outer peripheral teeth 54s of a gear piece 54. With the sleeve hydraulic pressure control section, an amount of rattle between the inner peripheral teeth 56s of the sleeve 56 and the outer peripheral teeth 54s of the gear piece 54 can be reduced. Thus, the control unit of the vehicle power transmission device can: prevent a reduction in engine efficiency due to an increase in an engine rotation speed Ne; and curb rattle generation without degrading fuel efficiency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】燃費を悪化させることなくガタ打ち音の発生を抑制する車両用動力伝達装置の制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両用動力伝達装置16の制御装置120によれば、スリーブ56の内周歯56sとギヤピース54の外周歯54sとの間のガタ打ち音の発生が推測された場合には、スリーブ56の内周歯56sとギヤピース54の外周歯54sとの噛み合い状態を維持しつつ、スリーブ56を軸線C方向における噛合方向とは反対側の開放方向に移動させるスリーブ油圧制御部134を備えている。これにより、スリーブ56の内周歯56sとギヤピース54の外周歯54sとの間のガタ量を低減させることができる。したがって、エンジン回転速度Neの増加によるエンジン効率の低下を防ぎ、燃費を悪化させることなくガタ打ち音の発生を抑制するができる。【選択図】図5
