To provide a liquefied gas tank which can enlarge a tank capacity without impairing the restoration performance of a tank-mounted ship and the rigidity of the tank, and does not need to install a reinforcing member on an inner surface of the tank.SOLUTION: A liquefied gas tank having no reinforcing member on an inner surface of the tank comprises: a semi-spherical upper spherical shell body 21 whose lower end is opened, and which is protrusive upwardly; a semi-spherical lower spherical shell body 23 whose upper end is opened, and which is protrusive downwardly; and a shell structure 15 having a circular equatorial circular part 25 for connecting the lower end of the upper spherical shell body 21 and the upper end of the lower spherical shell body 23. The shell structure 15 has a shape which is split into two pieces at a face parallel to a vertical direction, and also comprises a circular meridian circular part 27 for connecting the split faces. The meridian circular part 27 comprises a pair of semi-circular parts for connecting the spit faces of the upper spherical shell body 21, and the split faces of the lower spherical shell body 23, and plate-shaped connecting parts 29a and 29b having flat plate shapes for connecting the split faces of the equatorial circular part 25 and the split faces of the semi-spherical circular parts 27a and 27b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
