To raise a temperature of a component to a temperature to recover an operating characteristic, when a power transmission device is used under a temperature environment that becomes low to such an extent that the operating characteristic of the component used in the power transmission device is lowered.SOLUTION: A power supply circuit 12 supplies AC power to a power transmission coil 180. A power transmission coil unit 18 comprising the power transmission coil 180 transmits the AC power to a power reception device 2. The power transmission coil unit 18 executes a first power transmission, and a second power transmission smaller than the first power transmission received by the power reception device 2; and executes the second power transmission before executing the first power transmission.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
