To provide a battery replacement system, a management device, a management method, and a program capable of efficiently distributing information necessary for authentication of a user to a battery replacement device.SOLUTION: A battery replacement system 1 includes: a plurality of battery replacement devices 200 which are detachably mounted on an electric vehicle, perform the replacement service on the battery which supplies electric power for running of the electric vehicle, and execute the replacement service when authentication of a user is successful; and a management device (management server 200) provided with an acquisition part for acquiring information on the battery or the user between the plurality of battery replacement devices, and a distribution part for distributing authentication information necessary for authentication of the user to some battery replacement devices among the plurality of battery replacement devices based on information acquired by the acquisition part.
