To suppress deterioration of continuity of an automatic operation support service, and also to suppress an increase of a cost to be spent on the automatic operation support service.SOLUTION: A management system manages a vehicle state of an automatic operation vehicle by allowing an automatic operation support center to periodically perform communication with the automatic operation vehicle to automatically travel. The management system comprises: a vehicle side device 20 which is arranged in the automatic operation vehicle and includes a vehicle side determination section 21C for determining whether or not automatic traveling is to continue based on communication state information being information which indicates a state of communication between the automatic operation support center and the automatic operation vehicle at each position where the automatic operation vehicle can travel within a management object area by the management system when communication with the automatic operation support center is interrupted; and a center side device 10 which is arranged in the automatic operation support center and includes a center side determination section 11D for determining whether or not notification is to be performed to a supporter who supports the automatic operation vehicle based on the communication state information when communication with the automatic operation vehicle is interrupted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
