To correspond to a shape change of a member forming a cavity and to exhibit sound absorption effect with a wide frequency area.SOLUTION: A sound absorption structure attached to a cavity forming member forming a cavity comprises: a sub-chamber forming part for forming a sub-chamber being a space smaller than the cavity in the cavity; and a flange part extending along the cavity forming member from an edge of the sub-chamber forming part. The sub-chamber forming part has an opening where the sub-chamber and the cavity are communicated, is formed of a material with Young's modulus of 1 MPa to 1 GPa, and reduces vibration in the cavity by Helmholtz resonance generated by the sub-chamber and the opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
