To provide a signal reading system that generates a code identification signal capable of identifying a code indicated by a logic signal of a communication path to output it to an analysis device, and that gives notice when a signal collision with the analysis device occurs.SOLUTION: A signal reading system includes: a CAN driver 3 that converts a code identification signal Sf indicating a logic signal Sa into a transmission signal STX and outputs it from a pair of output terminals to an analysis device; a CAN receiver 5 that receives the signal generated between the pair of output terminals and outputs it as a reception signal SRX; a comparison unit 7 that compares logics of the code identification signal Sf and the reception signal SRX and outputs an output signal So indicating match/mismatch between the logics; and a processing unit 9 that performs notification operation when the output signal So (So1) indicating mismatch is input.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
