To provide a trolley wire suppressed in human power and time required for wear management, and enabling wear management even when being unevenly worn.SOLUTION: A trolley wire 1 comprises: linear first grooves 14 along the longitudinal direction, disposed in positions below wear limit positions 20 and above uneven wear limit positions 21 of both lateral faces; and linear second grooves 15 along the longitudinal direction, disposed in positions below the uneven wear limit positions 21 of both lateral faces. The uneven wear limit position 21 is a position in which a cross section in the radial direction when uneven wear having an angle from the horizontal direction of a wear surface as a predetermined ange occurs, and the wear surface in a lower position in both lateral faces reaches the uneven wear limit position 21 is equal to a cross section in the radial direction when being evenly worn to the wear limit position 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
