To provide a lower part vehicle body structure of a vehicle which enables improvement of rigidity of a vehicle body in a vehicle width direction while inhibiting increase of the costs and weight.SOLUTION: A lower part vehicle body structure of a vehicle is provided with: a pair of side sills 3 extending in an anteroposterior direction along an outer edge of a vehicle cabin as seen in a vehicle width direction; frame members 5 provided at the inner side of the side sills 3 in the vehicle width direction and extending in the anteroposterior direction; cross members 6 extending in the vehicle width direction and connecting the frame members 5 to the side sills 3; and a connection member 100 extending in the vehicle width direction and connecting the frame member 5 to the side sill 3 at least one of positions in front of or behind the cross member 6.
