To provide a rubber composition for tires capable of improving wet grip properties, low rolling resistance and wear resistance of a tire in a well-balanced manner.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for heavy duty tires according to the present invention contains a diene rubber, silica, and a silane compound represented by the following formula (1). The diene rubber contains 50 mass% or more of an isoprene rubber. The average glass transition temperature of the diene rubber is -90°C or higher and lower than -50°C. The content of the silane compound is 0.5 pt.mass or more and 30 pts.mass or less based on 100 pts.mass of the silica. The rubber composition for heavy duty tires has a type A rubber hardness specified by ISO standard at a temperature of 0°C after curing of 55 or more and 70 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】タイヤのウエットグリップ性、低転がり抵抗性、および耐摩耗性をバランス良く向上できるタイヤ用ゴム組成物の提供。【解決手段】本発明のタイヤ用ゴム組成物は、ジエン系ゴムと、シリカと、下記式(1)で表されるシラン化合物とを含む、重荷重用タイヤ用ゴム組成物であって、前記ジエン系ゴムが、イソプレン系ゴムを50質量%以上含み、前記ジエン系ゴムの平均ガラス転移温度が、−90℃以上−50℃未満であり、前記シラン化合物の含有量が、前記シリカ100質量部に対して、0.5質量部以上30質量部以下であり、前記重荷重用タイヤ用ゴム組成物を硬化後の温度0℃におけるISO規定のタイプAのゴム硬度が55以上70以下である。【選択図】図1
