To provide a flow straightener capable of bringing about a proper flow straightening effect even when a state of an air flow around an object is changed.SOLUTION: A flow straightener comprises a plurality of air flow generating parts 100 that are periodically arranged along each of a first direction along a surface part of an object and a second direction crossing the first direction and that generate air flows traveling along the surface part, and a control part 200 that individually controls the actuation or stop of the plurality of air flow generating parts. The control part is constituted so that the total output of one group L1 of the air flow generating parts, which are arranged along an air flow generation direction, can be set higher than the total output of the air flow generating parts of another group L2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
